Canada Post Freestyle Grand Prix : a popular rendez-vous
Thousands of visitors gathered at Ski Mont Gabriel on Janury 14th and 15th to cheer on athletes for all over the world. 19 years old Mikaël Kingsbury won Gold medal and stirred up the crowd. His Canadian team colleagues also gave great performances : Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau finished 8th, while Cedric Rochon ended the competition in 15th place.
All the more, we must highlight Justine Dufour-Lapointe’s brilliant performance who, at only 17, won the silver medal of this World Cup event. What’s more, the Dufour-Lapointe sisters trio, also ex-members of Mont Saint-Sauveur’s freestyle club, finished in 2nd, 6th ( Maxime ) and 22nd (Chloé) place. Béatrice Bilodeau, also from the club, finished the competition in 21st place.
Congratulations to all athletes for a breathtaking event!
